MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) – The Milwaukee Brewers are back in first place after a 2-0 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday night at American Family Field.
Corbin Burnes was dominant in this one pitching seven scoreless innings with two hits, 10 Ks and two walks. Devin Williams tossed a 1-2-3 8th inning and Josh Hader, back from the paternity list, picked up his 20th save with a scoreless ninth.
The Brewer runs came on a two-run Tyrone Taylor home run in the fifth inning.
The two teams continue their series tonight…pre game show at 6:35 on WTAQ.
