The Wisconsin Badgers men’s and women’s basketball teams will play a doubleheader at the home of the Milwaukee Brewers this fall. Wisconsin will host two games at American Family Field on November 11, playing on a court laid over the infield. The women will play Kansas State while the men will take on Stanford. It’s the first college basketball games in a major league stadium since the San Diego Padres hosted one in 2015.
Men’s Head Coach Greg Gard has promoted Joe Krabbenhoft to be his associate Head Coach. The 35 year old was a hard working forward on the Badger basketball team from 2005 to 2009. After trying the NBA D League and playing professionally in Europe, Krabbenhoft joined Bo Ryan’s staff in Madison as the team’s video coordinator. He left to become an assistant at South Dakota State for three years before re-joining Gard’s staff as and assistant coach in 2016.
