Green Bay Packers
For the first time this off-season, the Green Bay Packers will have veteran players join the rookies and first year free agents on the field together. Phase two of the off-season program begins on Monday with the first week of Organized Team Activities. The Packers will have three week’s of OTA’s, practicing on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Only Tuesday’s session will be open to the media which is when Head Coach Matt LaFleur will conduct his weekly news conference.
The team’s mandatory mini-camp will take place June 5-7 before the final week of OTA’s which are voluntary for veterans. It’s expected Aaron Rodgers will make at least a brief appearance at some point during the OTA’s.
The Packers are down to three kickers in camp after waiving J.J. Molson Friday afternoon. He joined the team late in 2020 and spent the entire 2021 season of Green Bay’s practice squad. His departure leaves the Packers with veteran Mason Crosby competing with free agent Dominik Eberle.
