GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A former elementary school teacher charged with sexually assaulting two students pleaded not guilty Friday.
David Villareal was charged in February with two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
Those two charges are the second set of such charges against Villareal. Three similar counts were filed last April. Both sets of charges are now scheduled for trial July 11.
All of the incidents involved female students at Baird Elementary in 2015 and 2016. Villareal resigned after the first charges were filed.
