OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A jury convicted Erice Grady Thursday for the murder of Deshawn Davis.
The trial in Winnebago County court started Monday, with the verdict returned Thursday afternoon.
The conviction for first-degree intentional homicide carries a mandatory life prison, with Judge Daniel Bissett deciding if Grady will ever be eligible to ask for parole, and, if so, when. Sentencing is scheduled for May 25.
Grady was also convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Grady and others were at a home on Greenwood Court on April 27 when he shot Davis through the door, according to the criminal complaint.
