It has all the appearances of a package deal but the Green Bay Packers have found an assistant for new Special Teams Coordinator Rich Bisaccia. The former Las Vegas Raiders coordinator and interim Head Coach was hired by Matt LaFleur last week. Now the Packers are bringing aboard Bisaccia’s chief lieutenant with the Raiders. Byron Storer has been hired to assist Bisaccia with the Packers. He’s a nine year NFL coaching veteran who has worked under Bisaccia with both Raiders and during their time together with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Packers have not announced plans for last year’s assistant on Special Teams Rayna Stewart who worked under the fired coordinator Maurice Drayton.
The only opening left on LaFleur’s staff is a Quarterbacks Coach as they seek to replace Luke Getsy who was named the Offensive Coordinator for new Chicago Bears Head Coach Matt Ebeflus last month.
