DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — St. Norbert College will begin the spring semester with virtual instruction because of COVID-19.
In a letter to students Wednesday, the college said the semester will begin with two weeks of remote learning. The letter cited multiple COVID-19 outbreaks among the college’s athletics teams and a surge in cases as reasons behind the decision.
Students are encouraged to consider staying home for the first two weeks. Students will need to inform the college of their expected return date and submit a COVID-19 entry test within five days of their return.
In-person classes are expected to resume Feb. 7.
