DE PERE (WLUK) – A lawsuit challenging the De Pere school district’s COVID-19 quarantine policy was dismissed Wednesday, but court documents do not include any details on if any changes were made as a result.
Stephanie McManus, a substitute teacher and parent of two students in the district filed suit seeking an end to the policy.
Last month, a judge denied a request for a temporary order to stop the district from following its policy while the case was played out in court. At that time, a March 3 hearing was scheduled.
But, according to a stipulation signed Wednesday, the case “in its entirety as to any causes of action, claims, counterclaims and cross-claims, without prejudice and without costs to any of said parties” is dismissed.
