GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay kicked off its annual Christmas Campaign, and that means you’ll start to hear a familiar sound when you’re out in the community.
The holiday bell-ringing season is now underway.
The organization says having bell ringers can help meet that goal.
Three other Salvation Army organizations in Northeast Wisconsin have also kicked off or are about to kick off their Red Kettle campaigns.
The Salvation Army of the Fox Cities kicks off its campaign Nov. 19, with a goal of $1,125,000.
The Salvation Army of Manitowoc County‘s campaign began Friday and runs through Christmas Eve. Its overall Christmas goal is $370,000, and its Red Kettle goal is $140,000.
And the Salvation Army of Oshkosh has set a Christmas goal of $467,000.
