Rodgers tested positive for the virus last week. Lazard missed the Oct. 28 game at Arizona after being a close contact of someone who tested positive.
Rodgers admitted he was not vaccinated, saying he rejected the vaccine due to an unspecified allergy to an ingredient in the mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna. He refused the Johnson & Johnson vaccine due to concerns raised earlier this year over blood clots, which temporarily caused the FDA to halt the distribution of that vaccine. It’s since been reintroduced.
With no game suspensions being handed down, it is possible Rodgers will be able to play Sunday against Seattle, as he eligible to come off the COVID/reserve list on Saturday. Lazard returned last week and played at Kansas City.
