ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Atlanta Braves are World Series champs and baseball has officially come to an end for 2021.
But, some big changes are on the way for the team once known as the Green Bay Booyah.
New ownership in the form of Festival Foods CEO Mark Skogen is bringing a change of branding and a new team name.
They will now be The Green Bay Rockers.
Officials with the team say everyone, young and old, can relate to music and they’re hoping make music a highlight of the gameday experience.
More music will be incorporated into each game day, whether it’s a pregame or postgame concert or even one in game.
Capital Credit Union will also host more concerts throughout the year.
