GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Joshua Yahsha was sentenced Friday to 18 months in prison for the hit & run crash which killed a bicyclist.
Yahsha, 21, previously pleaded no contest for the July 15, 2020 crash on Green Bay’s east side which killed Jordan Krebsky, 25.
Yahsha was also placed on extended supervision for 10 years by Judge Kendall Kelley.
“First and foremost, your Honor, I would like to take full responsibility for my actions and hold myself accountable. I cannot say ‘I’m sorry’ enough to the loved ones of Mr. Jordan. I cannot say ‘sorry’ enough because saying ‘sorry’ isn’t going to bring Mr. Jordan back,” Yahsha said.
Prosecutors and the defense attorneys made a joint recommendation for the 18-month prison term.
