APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Should electric scooters stay in downtown Appleton? The city is surveying the public for its feedback.
Scooters have been in high-foot-traffic areas of the city since the spring as part of a pilot program. The city partnered with scooter company Bird.
The survey asks people whether they have used the scooters, whether they’re safe for riders and pedestrians, whether they’re a more environmentally friendly option than cars and whether they’re fun.
Bird scooters are also available in Green Bay.
