LUXEMBURG, WI (WTAQ) – Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department reports a 7-year-old girl is in critical condition and a man arrested on suspicion of physical abuse.
Alan T. Finch, 33, of Luxemburg, was arrested Tuesday on the recommended charge of reckless physical abuse of a child. Additional charges may also be filed.
Around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department received a call from a Green Bay medical facility about a girl who had been brought in for treatment with wounds consistent with physical abuse. The facility stated the girl was unconscious and in critical condition. The child was later transported to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee for continued treatment.
The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department, and Kewaunee County Human Services along with members of the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation are investigating.
