GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Muhammed Hoskins was sentenced Friday to 12 years in prison for a shooting near Seymour Park.
Hoskins, who was convicted of three counts, including recklessly endangering safety, was also placed on extended supervision for 10 years by Judge Tammy Jo Hock. He also must pay restitution of more than $19,000.
Hoskins apologized for his actions before the sentence was issued.
Police were called to South Oakland Ave. near Seymour Park around 11 p.m. on May 22, 2020, for a report of a shooting. During the incident one individual was shot in the leg and sustained a serious injury resulting in his hospitalization.
According to the criminal complaint, Hoskins’ brother was involved in a fight. Hoskins arrived at the scene, and shot a man in the leg, witnesses told police.
