DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) — State Senator Andre Jacque has been discharged from the hospital after spending the last month hospitalized with COVID-19 induced pneumonia.
The Republican’s staff wrote in a Tuesday afternoon email that Jacque is “doing much better” and “is in touch with his staff on legislative and district issues”.
They added that he will have to undergo respiratory and occupational therapy, and that he has a “ways to go” before returning to full health.
Jacque was placed on a ventilator on August 24th.
