CLINTONVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Three people were taken into custody after drugs were found inside their vehicle during a traffic stop, Clintonville police say.
A Clintonville police officer stopped the vehicle on 8th St. for expired registration Friday.
K-9 Charr was deployed and alerted on the vehicle for the presence of illegal narcotics.
Police say a search of the vehicle turned up 18.46 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 7.27 grams of suspected marijuana, .66 grams of suspected heroin, medication, a scale and other pieces of drug paraphernalia.
As a result, a 30-year-old Marion man, a 21-year-old Iron River, Michigan man and a 42-year-old Keshena man were arrested.
