APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Police in Appleton are investigating an armed robbery from Sunday night.
Authorities say at approximately 9:00 p.m. Sunday officers responded to a Fox Convenience gas station at 2661 South Oneida Street.
They found one employee inside the business. No customers were in the store at the time of the robbery, and no one was injured.
The employee described the suspect to police as a black male between 20 and 30 years old, approximately six feet tall, with an athletic build.
He was wearing a blue athletic style spring jacket with white stripes on the sleeves with a Milwaukee Brewers Mitt logo on the left side of the chest, black pants, and a light colored surgical-style mask covering his face.
The employee reported the male displayed a weapon when he came into the store, then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
