WRIGHTSTOWN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man was arrested after Wrightstown police suspected he was driving a UTV drunk.
According to police, it would be the man’s fifth OWI offense.
Just before 8 p.m. Tuesday, an officer noticed a UTV on County Highway U, north of State Highway 96 in the village of Wrightstown, going at a speed faster than posted.
UTV’s are not allowed to travel in the village of Wrightstown so the officer attempted to stop the UTV.
The UTV sped off and the officer lost sight of the UTV but found it parked alongside a garage.
When the driver, a 53-year-old Kaukauna man, was located, he was subsequently arrested.
