GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A man who police say threatened to kill a woman and their kids led to a police standoff Sunday on Green Bay’s west side.
Police say the man and a woman got into a physical altercation which led to the woman jumping out of a second story window of an apartment building in the 1400 block of South Oakland.
The man the allegedly threatened her and their children–who were inside the house–which led to a five-hour standoff in which neighboring homes were evacuated and surrounding roads were closed. There was an initial report that the man had a gun, but police say they weren’t able to substantiate that he ever had a weapon. Police eventually convinced the man to surrender. No names have been released.
