PULASKI, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The tornado that touched down in Pulaski Wednesday had estimated peak wind speeds of 65-70 mph.
The National Weather Service preliminarily rated the tornado an EF-0 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale. The NWS survey revealed the damage was mainly to trees.
The tornado touched down at 2:12 p.m. northwest of Pulaski. It stayed on the ground for 10 minutes, ending one mile east of town.
The storm that brought the tornado was one of several over a period of five days in Northeast Wisconsin. Another tornado touched down a day earlier in Outagamie County, and the entire series left record rainfall in the area.
