GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The third man involved in the 2019 killing of 18-year-old Preble High School Student Federico Abarca Jr. in Green Bay has been convicted.
Gavin Rock, 20, pleaded no contest to counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and being party to reckless homicide.
Police say he was one of four people who were in a car with Abarca when he was shot. Authorities say the four men attempted to rob him during a drug deal.
Rock will be sentenced Oct. 6. The fourth man allegedly involved in the shooting, Jarid Stevens, will appear in court that same day.
