OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Oshkosh Police are investigating an armed robbery at a gas station.
Officers were called to the R Store Gas Station along the 1600 block of Bowen Street around 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday night for a report of an armed robbery.
Two suspects had reportedly robbed the station clerk, and one of them displayed a black handgun. He is described as an African American and spoke with an accent. He was wearing dark clothing and bright blue sneakers. The other suspect was identified as a male, race unknown and was also wearing dark clothing. Both suspects had their faces partially covered. They are believed to be in their teens or twenties and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
Nobody was hurt.
Police believe the suspects may have been sighted prior to the robbery in the 2100 Block of Evans Street. Anyone with information is asked to contact Oshkosh Police.
