RIPON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Ripon residents have power again after Wednesday night’s storms knocked out the lights throughout the city.
As residents clean up following Wednesday night’s storms, the Compost Center on Berlin Rd. remains open to drop off brush and storm debris. The city is encouraging residents to haul to this site if you are able. Hauling it to the compost site versus putting it on the curb is extremely helpful to our Department of Public Works as they continue to be very busy with storm clean up.
City crews have been out clearing debris and opening roadways. Only a few streets remain closed. Residents should abide by all traffic closures and barricades.
Meanwhile Wisconsin Public Service says it restored power to more than 115,000 customers.
