Wisconsin Junior Holstein Breeders Awarded

The Holstein Association USA recognized some of their junior members from Wisconsin who have bred and own top-quality dairy cattle.

The following from the state placed in the winner’s circle:

• The National Star Performer Award: Blake, Samuel, and Sydni Mell own a cow that placed in the top ten.
• The National Cream of the Crop Award: Evan Strack owns a cow in the top ten.
• The National Junior 150,000 Pound Lifetime Production Award: Ashley, Colton, Justin, and Katie Brandel own a dairy cow, which reached 150,000 pounds of milk production in her lifetime.
