HOWARD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — No one was hurt after a Brown County business was burglarized, with employees inside.
Just after 6 a.m. Thursday, deputies were called to Midwest Trading Company on Badgerland Dr. in Howard for a burglary in progress.
Two employees were inside when the alarm went off.
One employee sheltered in place inside a locked office and the other employee got out of the building and met deputies outside.
A Bearcat was used to allow safe entry for deputies.
The employee that was still inside the business, was safely escorted out and no one else was found inside.
Investigators are still on scene.
