GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Green Bay has been ranked the 21st best place to live in the United States by US News and World Report.
The publication said Green Bay ‘has the perfect mix of big-city amenities complemented with a Midwestern, small-town feel.’
It’s not a surprise to Alderman Brian Johnson.
“Other people are looking in and seeing wonderful things in the city of Green Bay,” said Johnson. “I think we have to find a way to embrace and enjoy and appreciate that about ourselves.”
US News took into account quality of life, the regional job market, and people’s desire to live there.
“Everybody knows that Green Bay is a beautiful place to live and raise a family,” said Johnson. “But I think they got it wrong because I think we’re the number one place to be.”
Boulder, Colorado topped the list.
