GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – No one was hurt following a garage fire in Green Bay early this morning. (Monday)
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department reports being called at approximately 1:48 a.m. for a detached garage fire at 1958 Smith Street.
Crews found smoke and flames coming from the garage. The fire was put out in 10 minutes.
Officials say improperly disposed fireworks was the cause of the fire.
No injuries were reported and no residents were displaced.
The fire caused an estimated $25,000 in damage to the garage.
