ATLANTA, GA (WTAQ) – The Milwaukee Bucks are headed back to the NBA Finals, a place they have visited since 1975.
The Bucks punched their ticket with a 118-107 victory last night in Atlanta, taking the NBA Eastern Conference Finals 4 games to 2. After the Hawks tied up the series at two game each, Milwaukee put their foot on the gas to takes the next two games.
They didn’t even need two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, out with a hyper-extended knee, to lock up their spot.
The leading scorer Saturday night for the Bucks was Khris Middleton. He paced Milwaukee with scored 32 points, including a run of 16 straight points in a decisive third quarter that carried the Bucks victory.
The stage is now set for the NBA Finals where Milwaukee will face the Champions of the Western Conference, the Phoenix Suns.
