CLINTONVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A Clintonville golf course was burglarized and officials say it’s similar to other burglarized golf courses around the state.
The Clintonville Riverside Golf Course burglary happened on June 2, between 3 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.
Authorities say a suspect entered the bar area and Pro Shop around 3:30 a.m. through a side crank-out window.
The suspect took cash from the register and gaming machines. Alcohol and other items did not appear to be of interest.
The Pro Show security video shows a probable male, wearing a zip-up hooded sweatshirt, ski mask and gloves, make his way through the door. The suspect uses a crow bar to break open the cash register. When it didn’t open, the suspect took the entire cash register that was later found on the golf course. The suspect appears to walk around the Pro Shop but doesn’t take anything there.
Authorities say they collected show impressions and possible DNA evidence from the scene.
