GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A woman charged with her fifth drunken driving offense in connection with a crash which closed Interstate 43 has been ordered to stand trial.
Brenda Tenpas, 47, is scheduled to enter a plea July 8 to four charges for the March 8 incident.

Investigators said Tenpas was involved in a side-swipe crash on Highway 172 eastbound. She then allegedly continued south on I-43 and lost control near Denmark. Her vehicle went through a cable barrier in the median and hit an oncoming semi. The semi jackknifed and blocked the northbound lanes.
Her blood alcohol level was .26, more than three times the legal limit of .08, according to the Brown County Sheriff’s Dept.
