GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitor’s Bureau is holding a job fair this Wednesday at the Rock Garden Comfort Suites on Bond Street in Green Bay between 3 and 7pm.
The CVB’s Brenda Krainik says it can’t come at a better time. Tourism in the area is experiencing a dramatic shortage in the labor pool.
“It’s very important for us to roll out the red carpet for tourists. We want them to return time and time again and having fully staffed attractions is crucial,” said Krainik. “There is a great need to fill so many hospitality positions in the greater Green Bay area when it comes to hotels, restaurants, and attractions.”
Those looking to get hired should show up ready to interview. Krainik says the fair will have a fun atmosphere. There will be prizes available.
