(LEARFIELD/WNFL) – The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are now the High Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers after last year’s re-alignment of minor league baseball by Major League Baseball.
With the first game scheduled for this Tuesday, Timber Rattlers manager Matt Erickson spoke about making the jump to High-A ball. The difference is these players have been through it for the most part and should be more relaxed.
Erickson said that at this level, it’s important for players to win and develop in a team mode.
Erickson added that it’s important to build character and a winning attitude.
The Timber Rattlers open their season on Tuesday at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute against the Beloit Snappers.
