REEDSVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Reedsville man has been arrested following a double stabbing Sunday that left two injured.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old Jesus Sanchez-Delgadillo of Reedsville was arrested after he reportedly stabbed a 25-year-old Brillion man and a 26-year-old woman from Reedsville.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon just before 3 p.m. at the 500 block of Menasha Street in Reedsville.
According to authorities, Sanchez-Delgadillo allegedly stabbed the Brillion man three times and the woman once with a pocket knife after growing upset.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital to treat their stab wounds and were listed in stable condition.
After stabbing the two, officials say Sanchez-Delgadillo went to the Green Bay area, where he was later arrested by Green Bay police. Sanchez-Delgadillo was then transported to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office where he was interviewed by investigators.
The sheriff’s office says it is recommending two counts of substantial battery and additional charges are also being considered. No formal charges have been filed.
Sanchez-Delgadillo is being held at the Manitowoc County Jail and was expected to appear in court Monday.
