MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) — A lucky pair of hits in the bottom of the ninth turned what looked like a 5-2 rout at the hands of the Minnesota Twins into a 6-5 victory for the Milwaukee Brewers on their opening day at American Family Field.
Christian Yelich hit a single in the bottom of the ninth that sent Kolten Wong home. Pitches later, a double by Travis Shaw sent Yelich and Keston Hiura home to tie the game.
Brewers play Saturday at home, again against the Twins.
