GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Associated Banc-Corp has chosen its next leader.
The company has appointed Andrew J. Harmening president and CEO. He succeeds Philip B. Flynn, who is retiring.
Harmening comes to Associated from Huntington Bank, where he is senior executive vice president of consumer and business banking. At Huntington, he has led the bank’s digital and omni-channel strategy.
Harmening has also worked for Bank of the West, U.S. Bank and Fifth Third Bank.
Associated board chair Jay Williams said in a news release….

In his own news release Harmening said he’s ready to go to work…

Harmening is set to take over April 28th.
