APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Shell casings were found after a report of shots fired on Appleton’s north side Tuesday.
Meghan Cash, public information officer with the Appleton Police Department, says police responded around 2:45 p.m. to the 1700 block of N. Richmond Street.
While investigating the area, police found shell casings in the road. No victims were found, and police don’t have a suspect at this time.
Richmond Street between Wisconsin Avenue and W. Parkway Boulevard remains closed while police continue to investigate.
