OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Oshkosh police say a 46-year-old man is in custody Wednesday night following an incident that promoted the SWAT team to respond.
It comes after police urged people to stay away from the 600 block of School Avenue, as officials investigated.
Officers went to a house in the area around 5:20 p.m.
Officials say the man caused severe damage to a home and was armed with a hammer.
No one was injured.
