NEW LONDON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – For the second year in a row, there will be no St. Patrick’s Day parade in New London.
In a statement released today (FRIDAY) The Shamrock Club of New London says the pandemic is to blame.
“The safety of our patrons and club members remains our biggest concern.”
Although the parade is canceled, there still will be other festivities:
Leprechaun Day, March 15th
Hooligan Day, March 16th
Irish Caroling, March 17th
Irish entertainment and dignitary appreciation night, March 19th
