HOWARD, WI (WTAQ) – An Oconto area man suspected of driving drunk was arrested after crashing into a barrier in Brown County, injuring himself and both of his passengers.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies say the pickup truck was traveling northbound on I-41 when it struck a barrier head-on by the Shawano Ave. exit in the village of Howard.
The 21-year-old driver was arrested and is receiving medical treatment at an area hospital.
Both his passengers, a 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, both of the Oconto area, received severe injures and are also being treated at an area hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
