They’re worth $1.5 billion total, in fact, between the $850 million Mega Millions prize and the $730 million Powerball.
That means big business for Philly’s on 4th on Fond Du Lac’s miracle mile, the site several previous jackpots.
“I think the last person that won bought a chicken dinner before they did, so if you’re superstitious, you’ll want to do that,” owner Phil Moses quipped.
It’s been a while since Philly’s on 4th sold a big winner, and Moses thinks they’re overdue.
“Yup this is going to be the week.” Moses said. “We haven’t had a big jackpot winner in about eight years or so since a real big one, we’ve had a few million dollar ones, but if we get another one like this, that would definitely make it busy again.”
The Mega Millions numbers will be drawn Tuesday. The Powerball will be drawn on Wednesday.
