MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Recount efforts have wrapped in Milwaukee County, and election officials say no signs of voter fraud have been found.
Some minor technical errors were found and corrected, but those are expected and did not sway the results one way or another.
Both candidates ended up gaining votes in the process. Democratic challenger Joe Biden added 257, while Donald Trump gained 212. That’s a net gain of 45 votes for Biden.
All told 459,723 votes were cast in Milwaukee County.
Dane County should wrap their recount efforts by Sunday. Both counties need to be completed by December 1st, which is when Wisconsin is scheduled to certify election results and the assignment of delegates to the Electoral College.
