APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Four boys could face juvenile charges in connection with a pair of stolen vehicles in the Fox Valley.
Appleton police say on Tuesday afternoon, they responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 100 block of N. Linwood Avenue. It had been left running unattended in a parking lot, officers determined.
While searching for the vehicle, Fox Valley Metro police let Appleton officers know they found it, along with another stolen vehicle, in their jurisdiction. Officers tried to pull both vehicles over, but they did not stop.
The vehicles eventually made their way into Appleton, with one crashing.
Those in the vehicles got out and ran into neighborhoods in Appleton and Kimberly. Police from both departments tracked the boys down, using a police dog and a drone. All four were eventually arrested.
