GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Security is expected to be tight at Green Bay Austin Straubel Airport on Friday ahead of the arrival of President Donald Trump.
President Trump will be holding a rally around mid-day, and Green Bay Police Commander Kevin Warych says they’re working closely with the secret service to make sure things go smoothly.
“We’ll work with any and all law enforcement agencies, whether they be local or federal,” Warych told WTAQ. “We just have that good line of communication.”
At other rallies across the country, protesters and counterprotesters have clashed both verbally and physically. Police are on the lookout for just that, monitoring social media for signs of trouble.
Doors open at the airport tomorrow for the rally around 11:30.
