GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Police have identified the two men shot to death Monday night at a Clement Street Apartment Complex.
The victims were named as 37-year-old Gerson Alvarez-Franco and 30-year-old Jaime A Lemus, both of whom are related to the man suspected of killing them, 28-year-old Oscar Lemus-Franco.
Lemus-Franco, 28, faces four felonies and one misdemeanor, including 1st-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Mayhem, Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Vehicle Operator Flee/Elude Officer and Resisting or Obstruction an Officer, according to Wisconsin Circuit Court Access.
Police arrested Lemus-Franco following a dramatic car chase that reached speeds of up to 95 miles per hour before ending in downtown Green Bay on Tuesday night. During a foot case that ensued after Lemus-Franco wrecked his vehicle on Dousman Street, police say he stabbed a Green Bay Police Officer in the face.
He has not been charged in the double murder, however police have forwarded homicide and attempted homicide charges to the District Attorney’s office.
Lemus-Franco remains hospitalized in suburban Milwaukee following a self-inflicted cut to the wrist.
