GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Loosen your belts: Green Bay Restaurant Week is coming soon.
Green Bay Restaurant Week starts September 10th, and nearly 40 area restaurants are offering deep discounts on three-course lunches and dinners.
“There are 39 local restaurants participating,” said Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Spokesperson Brenda Krainik on Friday. “You go online and look at the menu at and make your reservations.”
Krainik says it’s a great way to explore Green Bay’s culinary scene, from sports bars, to pizza, to Mexican food, to fine dining.
“We’re one of those gems in the midwest that people just don’t know about,” Krainik told WTAQ. “We have amazing chefs right here in our community.”
Price options include $11, $22, and $33 selections. That higher price point includes a number of restaurants whose normal prices would otherwise be prohibitive for some.
“They’re heavily discounting the rate that they’re charging so that you come in and give them a try,” explained Krainik. “Maybe you’ll stop by for an anniversary or a birthday.”
The week runs through September 17th.
The annual culinary event was originally scheduled for July, but delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
