SHAWANO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Later this month, the community may pay their respects to two Shawano County brothers who died last year while on a business trip in Missouri.
According to online obituaries, a visitation and memorial service for Nick Diemel, 35, and Justin Diemel, 24, will be Sunday, Sept. 27 at the Navarino Ball Diamond, W5173 State Hwy 156, in Bonduel.
Visitation will start at noon until the memorial service at 3 p.m.
Nick and Justin were reported missing July 21, 2019. The two went to Garland Nelson’s farm in northwestern Missouri related to their cattle business.
Court documents say Nelson fatally shot the brothers who came to collect a $250,000 check.
Nelson is charged with the brothers’ deaths.
