TOWN OF GREENVILLE, WI (WTAQ) – Tuesday’s partisan primary election ballot had a major referendum listed for the Town of Greenville.
Residents voted down a referendum to begin development of a new community park on existing Town-owned land. The proposal included a swimming beach, splash pad, children’s playground, athletic fields, ball diamonds, recreational trails, restored native natural areas and off-street parking. It would have cost about $6.5 million.
There were 1,709 NO votes – and just 1,087 YES votes.
