OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Jessica King has won the nomination for the U.S. House of Representatives 6th Congressional District Democratic race.
King received approximately 25,290 votes, or about 77%, as of 9:18 p.m., with 67% of precincts reporting.
The other two candidates, Michael Beardsley and Matthew Boor, received 15% and 8% of the total votes respectively at last reporting.
King, who is a lawyer from Oshkosh, previously served in the state Senate and on the Oshkosh Common Council. She will move on to face Republican incumbent Glenn Grothman in the November general election.
