On July 20, investigators were able to get a warrant to search the residence. During the search, all three suspects were inside. Investigators also discovered $40,000 in cash and several ledgers for the sale of marijuana.
Based on the investigation, it was determined the suspects were also using another residence located at 1007 Happy Valley Dr.
With another search warrant, officials found approximately $20,000 in cash located inside of a safe and several drug processing areas.
The search also revealed several hundred pounds of different types of marijuana. These types of marijuana included raw marijuana, THC edibles, THC wax and THC vapor cartridges.
The marijuana in total has an estimated street value of more than $1 million.
“This was a very large scale process where they had books that were documenting transactions. This is definitely a main storage facility for later distribution,” Wiechman tells WTAQ News, “Obviously not your personal type of use or even a middle man type of an operation. This was being farmed out to many other individuals who would probably, in turn, transport to other locations throughout the Fox Valley or the state.”
Investigators also seized a motorcycle, a 2019 Ford Edge and a 2016 Ford Fusion as a result of this investigation.
Task force officers also recovered several safety deposit box keys and information regarding crypto-currency accounts.
All three suspects were arrested and charged with THC possession with intent, Psilocin possession with intent and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
